Embedded system development
In most of our projects, we carry out the entire system development process. This usually includes designing several PCB’s and embedded software as well as PC interfaces. Our projects often have very stringent requirements, a few examples are: very low power consumption, safety critical, calculation intensive or extremely cost-efficient.

Naturally, we have extensive experience working in accordance with ISO9001, but we also have experience working in accordance with the DO-178 and DO-254 standards for airborne software and electronics.

Our expertise spans across all aspects of embedded system design. We rarely do hardware-only projects, virtually every single project we have done, even the most hardware oriented, have contained an embedded processor, usually a 16 or 32 bit (such as ARM or DSP). Many of the projects include a PC interface for configuration, testing or post processing of data from the embedded system. Software-only projects are more common and we have experience working with software development for full scale open systems (UNIX, Linux and Windows).

In the hardware area, we design complete systems containing both analogue and digital electronics. Apart from the design itself we do schematics, layout and prototypes. Usually, we also handle the contacts with contract manufacturers for serial production. Our projects range from small signal low power battery powered designs to high current motor drives and from analogue solutions to complex FPGA implementations.

15 1 TechnologyOne of our specialities is RF/Microwave technology, we can design systems using custom RF-layout, discrete components, as well as RFIC/MMIC one-chip-solutions. Applications of previous projects range from long range telemetry systems used in flight tests to low power short range devices such as Bluetooth, Zigbee and RFID.
